US Department of Justice - School Safety Violence Against Women Federal Grant Project: "Campus Response to Violence Against Women Consortium"

Presenters: Lindsay Farrar, Equinox, Inc & Amy Vincent (Albany County Crime Victim & Sexual Violence Center).

Under a three-year, $439,713 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice, Albany Law School, College of Saint Rose, Siena College, Equinox Inc., The Legal Project, Albany County Crime Victims and Sexual Violence Center, Albany County District Attorney’s Office, Albany Police Department and the Colonie Police Department will institute an enhanced program to prevent violence against women on campus, provide support and advocacy services for victims to ensure their physical and emotional safety, and encourage the reporting of crimes to hold offenders accountable.
